Description: BODHI is conducting full design, permitting, and development of a 60-acre agroforestry project that will include a compact, 5-home village supported by onsite community utilities. BODHI will also provide long-term management of the remaining 55+ acre pine forest, overseeing selective harvest operations and the planned transition into various mixed-hardwood agroforestry systems. Management elements include Keyline-based alley crop thinning, controlled burning, selective thinning and debris cleanout with low-impact forestry mulchers, and planned grazing to promote microbial decomposition and establishment of herbaceous/pasture understories.
